Dr. Yen is an engineering consultant at Hromadka & Associates whose expertise is in surface and groundwater hydrology and hydraulics. He specializes in computer modeling techniques. Dr. Yen has done extensive work developing drainage master plans for several cities and counties, including San Diego, Los Angeles, Corona, Santa Clarita, Yucaipa, Coalinga, Fullerton, Santa Ana, Laguna Beach, Arcadia, and Torrance. His work experience also includes the following: Comprehensive Storm Drain Plan #4 for County of San Bernardino, San Sevaine Channel Deficiency Study, San Joaquin Hill Transportation Corridor Runoff Management Plan, Channel Inundation Studies for County of Orange East Garden Grove – Wintersburg (CO5) and Oceanview (CO6), Flood Control Planning and Design Opportunities for Bolsa Chica, and Groundwater Modeling for Santa Monica, Turlock Irrigation District, and Mission Valley Terminal.
